Founder and Medical Director of Bergen Medical Sports and Spine, Dr. Herring received his Doctorate from Rutgers Medical School in 1989. He completed his post-graduate training at Overlook Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He graduated with the Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Herring is Board-Certified and has been practicing for thirty years in Manhattan and northern New Jersey. Dr. Herring has expertise in the specialized treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr. Hector is a Board-Certified Physician specializing in non-surgical Sports Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), and Aesthetic Medicine. She earned her Doctorate from UMDNJ–School of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her Family Medicine residency at Crozer Keystone Hospital in Pennsylvania, and her Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Hector specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, joint pain management, and performance optimization through non-surgical treatments. With extensive training in aesthetic medicine, she offers advanced skin and hair restoration treatments for concerns such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, aging skin, and hair thinning. Julia graduated with a Masters of Physician Assistant degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004. She completed her undergraduate education at Duke University with a major in biology and minors in psychology and chemistry. As a Board-Certified practitioner, she focuses on a multi-disciplinary treatment approach in physical and rehabilitation medicine and pain management.

Dr. Wang has experience working with a wide spectrum of patients from adolescents to geriatrics as well as treating orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical and sports related injuries. Dr. Rachelle Ayonayon is a Physiotherapist who has been practicing for almost a decade. She earned her doctorate from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Ayonayon has vast experience in treating different conditions with a wide spectrum of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics as well as treating musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurologic, and, sports-related injuries by applying the best Evidence-Based Practice in treating all conditions. Hyung is a licensed, highly trained acupuncturist skilled in traditional Chinese medical treatments such as Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Tui-na. He traveled from Korea in 1999 after completing his B.S. in Biochemistry from Konkuk University and graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine Swedish Institute. He also specialized in ear acupuncture in 2010 and completed a Chinese Herbal Medicine program in 2012, both of which allow him to further support his patients and their health. Hyung has been working as an acupuncture specialist in NJ since 2008 alongside medical doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists. He is very dedicated and enthusiastic in his practice and his holistic approach allows his patients to achieve wellness and health.
Michael Y. Ng, L.Ac., Dipl. Acupuncture, studied acupuncture at the Swedish School of Acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy at the Eastern School of Oriental Medicine, and received classical training from world-renowned master Jeffrey Yuen. Coming from a family of Chinese medical doctors, Michael continues a strong tradition in Chinese medicine. He has over 15 years of experience treating patients of all ages for both acute and chronic conditions. He utilizes a variety of modalities, including acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and Chinese herbal therapy, to support each patient’s individual needs. Licensed in both New Jersey and New York, Michael focuses on restoring balance through the body’s internal energy (qi) and building meaningful connections with his patients to achieve optimal outcomes. He also holds an MBA from Duke University.
Sharon brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to physical therapy, with a strong foundation in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. She is experienced in Women’s Health, including pre- and postnatal care, pelvic floor therapy, and core strengthening, and also works closely with geriatric patients to improve balance and reduce fall risk. Dr. Corinne Gehegan is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery with 25 years of clinical experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at New York University prior to attaining her DPM degree (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Gehegan subsequently completed an intense three year residency at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey where she was chief resident during the third and final year. Her passion is non-surgical management and prevention of sports related injuries. As an all season outdoor runner including trails, Dr. Gehegan is keenly aware of an athlete’s dedication and passion.
Ronald is a graduate of The Anthem Institute. He has been in the massage therapy profession for sixteen years. He's passionate about the positive effects of massage therapy on the body and mind. He can provide deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage for fatigued, sore muscles post-workout.
